About Seomyeon.Clinic

Seomyeon.Clinic is an independent, English-language guide to medical care in Seomyeon, Busan. We help foreign residents, visitors and medical travellers understand treatments, know what to ask, and choose a clinic with confidence.

What we cover

Our directory spans 25 medical specialties and 500 treatment guides, from LASIK and dental implants to health check-ups, physical therapy and mental health care. Every guide follows the same structure: a short direct answer, key facts, what happens at the clinic, recovery, risks, questions to ask and an FAQ.

Editorial policy

• Independent: clinics cannot pay to change what our guides say about a treatment.
• Evidence-based: content reflects mainstream medical practice. Where evidence is limited, for example for some Korean medicine therapies, we say so.
• No invented numbers: we do not publish prices, success rates or statistics we cannot verify. Costs vary by clinic and patient, so always ask for a written quote.
• Reviewed and dated: each page shows when it was last reviewed, and we update guides when practice changes.
• Corrections: if you spot an error, tell us and we will review it promptly.
